If you offer services or products designed to assist small, minority or disadvantaged businesses become more successful in securing contracts, then the How-To Conference is a great way to get in front of prospective customers. Exhibitor cost is $250 for small businesses and $350 for corporations. Details are provided below:
Entitlement
- Exhibitors receive one (1) complimentary registration. Each exhibitor must wear an official exhibitor’s identification badge.
- 6-foot table with cover and skirt
- 2 chairs
- Signage
- Electrical outlet and cord (upon request)
- Listing in Networking Journal (providing payment is received by October 10, 2010)
Arrangement/Layout
No partitions are permitted. HTC reserves the right to alter the location and/or layout of the exhibits in the best interests of the overall exhibit and conference.
Restrictions
HTC reserves the right to refuse any applicant for exhibit space whose services or products detract from the general character of the conference. This refusal applies to displays, printed matter, and promotional material. In addition, exhibitors are restricted from:
- Promoting products or services other than the exhibitor’s
- Creating excessive noise that would interfere with other exhibitors
- Conducting any activity that would attract attendees away from the conference during sessions
- Having any materials or conducting any activities that may impede traffic or interfere with other exhibits. All exhibitor materials and activities must be confined to the limits of the exhibitor’s table
Insurance
HTC does not guarantee or protect the exhibitor against loss of any kind. Each exhibitor agrees to be responsible for its own property through insurance or self insurance. Exhibitors will hold HTC harmless for any and all damages caused by theft and those perils normal covered by fire and extended coverage policy.
Liability
Each exhibitor will assume all responsibility for any damage to the exhibit area and hold harmless from any and all liability that may ensue from accidents, injuries, fire, loss or theft of property, or any other cause.
In the event that the conference is canceled, HTC liability will be limited to the monies paid by the exhibitor, less any expenses incurred for the exhibition not to exceed $75.00 per exhibitor.
Subletting
Exhibitors must seek the written consent of HTC before assigning or subletting any part of the space allotted.
Payment
A payment of $350 (Corporate) or $250 (Small Business) payable by check, money order or credit card must accompany your application in order to receive consideration for exhibiting at this event.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to: How-To Conference, ATTN: KC Ford, 12138 Central Avenue, Suite 120, Bowie, MD 20721. Cancellations received 7 days or less before a conference will be liable for a penalty of $100 per table reserved.
